Fans were devastated to hear about Pamela's departure this week.
One listener said: "We will miss you big time."
Another said: "You were a breath of fresh air. What a loss."
"I love listening to you… We will miss you lots," another added.
Speaking about her surprising exit from the station, Today FM told Her.ie that it was an "absolute pleasure" having Pamela as part of the station.
"Pamela Joyce has made the decision to say goodbye to her lunchtime radio show on Today FM.
"Pamela’s moving back west to focus on her life and new opportunities," they confirmed.
"It’s been an absolute pleasure to have Pamela as part of the Today FM team and on-air lineup and we wish her the very best in whatever comes next."
Pamela hasn't gone into detail about her exit but told her followers she was "bawling" after her final show.
"End of an era but it’s time to get home to Galway,” she confirmed on Instagram.
Pamela previously opened up about her afternoon show and said being part of the station’s weekday schedule was a real dream come true for her.
The station just won't be the same without her, but we cannot wait to see what Pamela Joyce does next.
