Paris Jackson has checked herself into a rehabilitation facility to aid her "wellness plan."
According to
ET, Paris had a lot to cope with in the last year, and has decided to take some time out to focus on her health.
She "decided that she needed to take some time off to reboot, realign and prioritise her physical and emotional health," a source told the publication.
“She checked herself into a treatment facility to aid in her wellness plan."
Paris has been quite open in the past about her mental health struggles, telling
Rolling Stone in 2017 that she tried to commit suicide when she was 15.
"It was just self-hatred, low self-esteem, thinking that I couldn't do anything right, not thinking I was worthy of living anymore.
"I was going through a lot of, like teen, angst. And I was also dealing with my depression and my anxiety without any help."
The source said that she's looking forward to completing her treatment and being ready to take on more work commitments in 2019.
