Paul O’Grady pays tribute to dog Bullseye who died after an epileptic fit

Paul O'Grady has paid tribute to his dog Bullseye who died following an epileptic fit. The TV and radio presenter said that his dog, who suffered from epilepsy along with one of Paul's other pets, passed away after a particularly bad seizure last Monday. He told listeners of his Sunday BBC Radio programme that he brought Bullseye to the vet in the middle of the night, but that the dog tragically passed away in the car. "I can’t tell you, poor old Bullseye," he said. "He was such a lovely dog, he had a thing about doorways, you had to coax him through them and he wouldn’t go upstairs. "It was part of his condition I think, he was a sweet little dog and sadly missed." Paul said that usually, Bullseye's condition was managed with medication, but the recent seizure was so "massive" that the dog couldn't come out of it. The For The Love of Dogs presenter said that when he returned home, he discovered that one of his other dogs had gotten into some 80 percent chocolate. He then had to bring the dog back to the vet to have their stomach pumped, just hours after Bullseye had been declared dead.
