Real talk: Why on earth didn’t she go as Lizzie McGuire?
Halloween is a time for dressing up and having fun but sometimes, people can cross a line.
We’ve seen many celebrities be accused of cultural appropriation like Vanessa Hudgens and Kendall Jenner but it seems the latest celebrity to be found guilty of appropriating a different culture is Hilary Duff.
The actress and singer made an appearance at Cindy Crawford’s Halloween party, with Hilary dressed as a pilgrim and her boyfriend Jason Walsh dressed as a Native American.

People took issue with the costumes, specifically Jason’s headdress which can reinforce stereotypes about certain nationalities of people.

When you're thinking of what you should be for Halloween the answer should never be #CulturalAppropriation @HilaryDuff. That was terrible.
