People are slamming Travis Barker over a comment he made about his daughter’s body

Fans aren't happy.

Kourtney Kardashian's husband Travis Barker has been slammed by fans after a "creepy" comment about his daughter Alabama resurfaced. Fans are in complete uproar over a resurfaced excerpt from Travis's autobiography Can I Say: Living Large, Cheating Death, and Drums, Drums, Drums as it appeared again on social media. Fans became disturbed when a piece from the memoir describes Travis's now 17 year old daughter's body when she was born, and many deemed it as "creepy." In the book, the Blink 182 singer spoke about how glorious it was to be a father to his "little girl" before he decided to make a comment about her bum as a baby. "When we got home, I couldn't believe I had a little girl. And even when she was a baby, she had a crazy bubble butt," the drummer wrote. "After all the sh*t that I had done to girls through my life, I knew I was cursed." Many saw this comment as problematic and are now calling him out on a Reddit thread. One person wrote: "He’s so f***king creepy and gross. This is depraved, while one added: "Ew wtf. I hate this. I feel so dirty just having read it." Another said: "This is how men think of any one of the opposite sex ... Here she is starting her life and he's already sexualizing her and thinking about what men will want from her. Give me a f***g break. Even a father will treat his daughter this way." A third said: "I swear this man is brain damaged/stupid and now we see he's a perv. What does Kourtney see in him?..." One fan did defend the musician, saying: "I think context helps...Travis is clearly referring to the “bubble butt” in terms of men wanting her when she’s older, which is sexualizing. I could see how someone else might say “bubble butt” to point out how it’s cute… but there is a fine line..."
