The actor has reportedly signed up for this year's Strictly.
The new season of
Strictly Come Dancing won't hit our TV screens until September but rumours about this year's contestants are already starting to spread.
You can guarantee that every year there will be a former pop star, a well-known presenter, a sportsman with two left feet, and of course, a soap star.
This year, producers have turned to
Emmerdale for their soapstar and fans will be pretty thrilled with who they've got lined up.
According to
The Sun UK, Adam Thomas is reportedly set to take part in the show.
A source told the publication: "After two decades on screen and, as one of the Thomas brothers, he instantly brings a huge fanbase. That’s what Strictly bosses love."
They added: "Producers also see him as someone who can fill the young hunk role, which is important and often sees them pick soap stars."
The actor has hinted at taking part in
Strictly in the past.
He even acknowledged the
Strictly curse.
"Bring it all on. I love a bit of glitz and glam. I just want to experience the Strictly curse," he quipped.
The actor was obviously joking as he has been married to his wife Caroline Daly for six years.
Thomas is best known for playing Donte Charles in
Waterloo Road and Adam Barton in
Emmerdale.
His brother Ryan Thomas is also an actor, best known for his role in
Coronation Street.
Adam's twin brother Scott Thomas also took part in
Love Island in 2016.
