Prince Charles has reportedly met his youngest grandson, Archie Harrison – two weeks after the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s first child was born.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle welcomed their first child in the early hours of Monday, May 6, before sharing the news with the rest of the world that afternoon.

The proud parents then shared the first glimpse at their little one two days later, with Meghan telling the waiting press how she had the “two greatest boys.”

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex revealed that they had run into the Duke of Edinburgh on the way to the photocall, before they introduced Archie to the Queen that afternoon.

Since then, Prince William and Kate Middleton are said to have met the youngest member of the royal family – and Lady Jane Fellowes, Princess Diana’s older sister, was reportedly among the first to meet baby Archie.

Now, Prince Charles reportedly paid a visit to the Sussexes as well.

Hello report that the Prince of Wales traveled to Windsor on Thursday to meet his youngest grandchild – and to see how Prince Harry and Meghan are handling parenthood.

It is not known whether Camilla, who has five grandchildren of her own, accompanied him on the visit.

Prince Charles previously told how he was “delighted” following the news of Archie Harrison’s birth.

Speaking from Berlin where he was on an official state visit, he told well-wishers:

“We couldn’t be more delighted at the news and we’re looking forward to meeting the baby when we return.”
