Picture the scene. A child you know is turning five, and you have to get him a gift - what do you do? Probably hit up your nearest toy store for some LEGO or remote control car. However, what if that child happened to be Prince George? I know, different story completely. The gorgeous little prince will turn five on Sunday, and the gifts have already started rolling in. This year George has received his first ever official royal birthday present. The Royal Mint has unveiled a commemorative £5 coin issued for the celebration of Georges big day. That's right folks, most kids get bikes and toys, but George gets a coin created in his honour. Casual. ‘The birth of Prince George altered the course of history in the United Kingdom, and we are pleased to be marking the fifth birthday of our future king,’ said Nicola Howell, director of consumer business at The Royal Mint. The coin features the legend of St. George and the Dragon on one side and a portrait of George's great granny, Queen Elizabeth II, on the other. What a cool little gift, for a cool little man.
