Well deserved.
We reckon Prince George puts a good bit of thought into his outfits so he’ll no doubt have been delighted to wake up to the good news this morning.
George has been named on Tatler magazine’s Best Dressed list for 2018.
The publication praises the prince for his “Christopher Robin chic”, a reference to the little boy in the Winnie The Pooh books.
His classic British upper class aesthetic – think woollen jumpers, shorts and knee socks – has become as distinctive and downright adorable as George himself is.
At just five years of age he is the youngest person to be included in Tatler’s round-up, but he’s not the only royal on the list.
He joins his great-granny Queen Elizabeth, “the ultimate power dresser” who is lauded for her love of bright colours and prints.
His mum Kate Middleton and new aunt Meghan Markle have also made the cut.
The Duchess of Cambridge earns a mention thanks to her fondness for both high end and high street pieces and for re-wearing her outfits, while the Duchess of Sussex is deservedly praised for “giving millinery a good name.”
Another royal on the list was Amelia Windsor, whose grandfather Prince Edward is the queen’s first cousin.
Other Britons who were commended by Tatler for their sense of style included Harry Styles, Lily James, Amal Clooney, Daniel Kaluuya and Dua Lipa.
