Prince Harry shares heated text exchange between Meghan and Kate

Prince Harry said he found Meghan sobbing on the floor after the argument.

Prince Harry's memoir Spare was published today and the 38-year-old certainly didn't hold back. Detailing everything from the fallout between him and his brother Prince William, his relationship with the British press, and the loss of his mother, Harry writes about all aspects of his life in the bombshell book. He even wrote about the now-infamous argument between Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton in the run-up to his wedding. Dozens of versions of the bridesmaid dress story have been told, but Harry has finally revealed what actually happened between Kate and Meghan. He explained that before their May 2018 wedding, Kate and Meghan were arguing about Charlotte's bridesmaid dress. Harry explained that his sister-in-law was frustrated because Meghan didn't respond to her quickly enough. He wrote; "Meg didn't reply to Kate straight away. She had endless wedding-related texts, but mostly she was dealing with the chaos surrounding her father. So the next morning she texted Kate that our tailor was standing by." "This wasn't sufficient," Harry said. Kate then texted Meghan saying Princess Charlotte's dress didn't fit properly. She texted Meghan, "Charlotte's dress is too big, too long, too baggy. She cried when she tried it on at home." Meghan then replied, "Right, and I told you the tailor has been standing by since 8am. Here. At KP. Can you take Charlotte to have it altered, as the other mums are doing?" Kate then said, "No, all the dresses need to be remade."

Meghan asked Kate if she knew what was going on with her father, but Kate stressed that the dresses needed to be fixed. Harry wrote, "Meg asked if Kate was aware of what was going on right now. With her father. Kate said she was well aware, but the dresses. And the wedding is in four days!" Meghan replied, "Yes, Kate, I know... " She then told Kate, "I'm not sure what else to say.
