And now, after quite a bit of family drama, the couple seem to be settling into their new lives as "normal people".
In fact, the Duke and Duchess have made first formal appearance as non royals.
According to PageSix, the couple made their first public appearance since announcing they were “stepping back” from royal life at a private JPMorgan event.
The report says that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle turned up at the swanky 1 Hotel in Miami’s South Beach on Thursday night.
A source revealed: “It was all very hush-hush, with a lot of security. Meghan and Harry headlined the event as the keynote speakers.”
