This October will be the first Invictus Games for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

Last year, Meghan Markle attended the games alongside Prince Harry which, at the time sent rumours wild that the pair could be getting engaged.

And a year later, they’re attending the games in Sydney as husband and wife.

But they’re not the only royals set to attend the sporting event this year, according to reports, Crown Prince Frederik and Princess Mary of Denmark will too be attending the games which will take place in Mary’s home country.

Many believe that the couples will soon become good friends attending various public appearances together over the course of the games as well as taking in some sightseeing. The royal couple will be visiting the Commonwealth countries as requested by the countries governments.

“Their Royal Highnesses have been invited to visit the Realms of Australia and New Zealand by the countries’ respective governments. The Duke and Duchess will visit the Commonwealth countries of Fiji and Tonga at the request of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office,” read a statement from Kensington Palace.

Many are already speculating as to what Meghan will wear to the games now that she is the Duchess of Sussex. Last year the former Suits star wore a white blouse and skinny jeans which you can be sure she won’t be wearing this year.

The Invictus Games sees injured service people competing in athletic events and the whole sporting occasion is a beloved one of Harrys.
