Princess Diana's godson Prince Philippos has second wedding to Nina Nastassja Flohr
The couple met in 2018.
Prince Philippos of Greece and his wife Nina Nastassja Flohr have celebrated their marriage in a second ceremony.
Philippos, who is the godson of Princess Diana, wed his partner Nina, a creative director for VistaJet, at a private ceremony in Switzerland last year.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, the couple's fathers - King Constantine and Thomas Flohr were the only guests in attenedance.
Since then, the couple marked the occasion for a second time in England.
Vogue writer Alice Naylor-Leyland hosted Phillipos and Nina's second wedding at her home in Cambridge. The event was intimate, with just a few guests attending.
Nina shared a number of photos of the wedding with her Instagram followers, and thanked Alice for hosting her.
She wrote: "Dearest Alice, you have made us smile more than you can ever imagine!
"Thank you for making us feel so special. The love, the happy tears, the speeches and 18 years of friendship!"
In another photo, Nina and Philippos cut their layered wedding cake. Nina shared that the couple didn't have cake at their official ceremony last year.
"Our wedding cake!" she wrote in the caption. "We didn't actually have one at our civil ceremony, so this is very special."
Greece abolished the monarchy in 1974. However, the royal family - King Constantine, Queen Anne-Marie and their children - still use their titles. On top of that, they continue to enjoy a close relationship with Europe's royal families.
Princess Diana is one of Philippos' many godparents. He is also the godson and first cousin twice removed of Prince Philip. His uncle, King Juan Carlos of Spain is another godfather, as is his aunt Princess Benedikte of Denmark and his first cousin, Infanta Elena of Spain.
He currently works as an analyst for Ortellius Capital. He met Nina in 2018.
