Princess Kate treats Prince William ‘like a child’ due to tantrums

Princess Kate and William “have terrific rows”

Princess Kate treats Prince William like a fourth child due to his ‘tantrums’, a source close to the couple has confirmed.

Author Tom Quinn revealed the future king and his wife don’t have a “perfect marriage”.

One of the biggest issues in their relationship is William’s tendency to “throw tantrums”, The Mirror reports.

A palace insider told Quinn, “Princess Kate treats him [William] like the fourth child because he’s prone to tantrums.”

They continued, “They do have rows. It’s not a perfect marriage. They have terrific rows.”

“But, where some couples have a row and throw heavy vases at each other, William and Kate throw cushions at each other. It’s always kept under control,” the source continued.

Quinn claims the couple have heated arguments, but remain calm in public because of lessons they learned from Queen Elizabeth.

Quinn said the couple throw cushions at one another unlike couples who “have a row and throw heavy vases at each other”.

He said the pair’s fights are always kept under control for the sake of the monarchy.

Quinn’s book ‘Gilded Youth: An Intimate History of Growing Up in the Royal Family’ focuses on how the royal children were raised and the impact the monarchy has on them.
