It seems like Stephanie Davis has been pregnant FOREVER.
The reality TV star and former
Hollyoaks actress is expecting her first child in January but earlier this week fans were in a frenzy when a tweet to the star led them to believe Davis had already given birth.
According to OK!, the tweet read “@StephDavis77 lovely to meet you today. All the best with everything. He's adorable xx.”
A publicist spoke to
OK! Online and cleared up the speculation.
In a statement they confirmed that while Davis is in hospital, it is not because she has given birth.
“Stephanie Davis has been subject to a number of rumours online the last few days regarding her pregnancy.”
“We can confirm Stephanie has been in hospital since Wednesday 2nd November due to an illness and is currently undergoing further tests.”
They continued to confirm that mum to be and baby were both okay.
“We would like to confirm that Stephanie has not given birth and her unborn baby boy is doing well.”
Davis’s hospital stint comes just weeks after the actress shared the news that her hair recently fell out due to stress.
Davis wrote:
"I've been working hard to repair my hair as when I was 'blonde Steph', my hair snapped a lot and it also started to fall out with all the stress I was under".
However, her former flame and rumoured father of her unborn child, Jeremy McConnell laughed off this suggestion.
He rubbished the idea that the hair loss could be due to stress and then described Steph's actions as "attention-seeking".
Taking to Instagram he shared a screen grab of an article written on Steph's hair loss with the caption:
"Aw stop I'm in knots, not cause you dye it white blonde from dark brown, any time I see an attention seeking article that makes me laugh I'm posting it".
The screengrab has since been deleted.
According to reports, Jeremy doesn't believe he's the father of Steph's baby and the whole situation is turning rather nasty.
