Some woman.

As it currently stands, Prince Charles is the longest serving heir to the British throne.

And at 69-years-old, he is also the oldest ever heir to the throne.

There have been rumours lately claiming that Queen Elizabeth, 92, will abdicate in three years, allowing her son to become King.

However, that will not be happening, so Charles may be waiting a while for that sweet, sweet crown.

A friend of Queen Elizabeth told Vanity Fair that the monarch made a very revealing comment in the aftermath of Pope Benedict XVI’s resignation in 2013.

Apparently, the Queen commented, saying “I would never do that.”

The source also said that Prince Charles may be waiting quite a while to become King, due to the Queen’s fantastic health.

“She never sits down” and her mind “still works so fast”.

And they added: “At the table, she was listening to three different conversations going on – jumping back and forth between them.”

Abdication is not entirely uncommon.

Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands abdicated in 2013, after regaining for 33 years.

King Juan Carlos I of Spain also abdicated in 2014, after reigning for 39 years, since November 1975.

However, looks like Elizabeth II is going nowhere!
