A tradition not just in the royal household, but in households across the world.
We all sit down and have a gawk and a gander, just to remark on how impressive it is.
She is in her nineties like… some woman!
Anyway, the Queen’s unofficial nickname is ‘one take Windsor’ because of her flawless speech delivery.
She’s such a pro at this stage, she does her speech in one quick take, and off she goes to enjoy the festive season.
Well… most of the time.
In the new documentary about the Queen’s life, it was revealed that she recently had to re shoot her whole speech.
All because of the birds chirping in the background.
How gas?
In the clip the Queen is shown responding to a member of the production team who has the unenviable task of asking her to re-do her speech just after she has finished it.

“Because there was sort of bird noises outside… is it possible to just to, redo it from the top?”
“From the top of the second page?” asks the Queen.
“From the very start,” he says.
“You want the whole thing again?” “If possible. I know it’s,” the Queen giggles and gets a relieved “Thank you”.
