Music star Nelly is facing drug charges after an arrest that took place yesterday.
The bus in which he was travelling in was pulled over as it failed to display an U.S. Department of Transportation and International Fuel Tax Association sticker.
A state trooper was about to investigate the vehicle when he “noticed an odour of marijuana” from inside the bus.

According to a statement released by authorities, the trooper then found “five colored crystal-type rocks that tested positive for methamphetamine, as well as a small amount of marijuana and other drug paraphernalia” in the vehicle.
Nelly, whose real name is Cornell Haynes, is facing charges including possession of drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia.
ABC News reports that the star paid $10,000 bail and was then released from prison.
He is due to appear in court on June 19th.
