Fair play.

We all get a little more generous than usual down the pub at Christmas time, but that normally just extends to getting a pint for a school pal who’s home from Australia.

Conor McGregor went well beyond that this year when he paid for drinks for everyone in his local in Dublin.

The MMA fighter dropped into the Black Forge Inn in Drimnagh on Christmas Eve and picked up the tab for a round for the entire bar.

Conor spared no expense and ended up settling a bill estimated at over €4,000.

“I think it was about €3,500- €4,000,” co-owner of the Black Forge Inn Liam Flynn told The Irish Mirror.

“He’s so decent it’s unbelievable.

“He never forgot where he came from which is the good thing about him.”

Liam revealed that Conor had been coming to the pub long before he was world-famous.

“I remember Conor coming in here and Conor wouldn’t have had much money and he would often say to me, ‘Liam is there any chance of selling a bottle of vodka to me?’

“I would say to him ‘We normally don’t do that Conor’, but I did it for him. His life is after changing, I hope for the better.”

The star spent a quiet Christmas in Dublin with his family, taking time out with the McGregor and Devlin clan.

Conor’s partner Dee is due the couple’s second baby in the next few weeks.
