Remember X Factor’s Eoghan Quigg? Well He’s Certainly… Grown Up A Lot

You may remember his as the cute blonde teenager who fell desperately in love with Diana Vickers way back in 2008, but it seems Eoghan Quigg has left that image behind.

We hardly recognise the singer, who hails from Northern Ireland, as he flexes his muscles in a photo shoot with Now magazine.

He’s obviously ditched the blonde highlights in favour of the beefcake look and is now supporting some body ink.

The now 20-year-old, who came third in the talent competition in 2008 spoke to the magazine about his drastic transformation into a man.

“I’ve got a lot taller and my hair’s shorter. I’m not as chubby as I used to be. It might have been better if I was the age I am now,” he said.

“'I was the youngest ever to get to the final. One Direction came after me. I was so young I didn’t really understand what was going on.”

The pop singer, who was dropped by his record label after the poor sale of his debut album Eoghan Quigg said he is currently single and looking forward to a future in music.

“I had a girlfriend for three years, but we recently broke up. We’re still friends.”

“I’ve just been rehearsing for a Strictly Come Dancing Children In Need special in Northern Ireland. And I do panto in November. Since The X Factor I’ve done two arena shows,” he said.

Although his new look may be to some people’s taste, Eoghan’s transformation really just makes us feel old. Is it really four years since he appeared on the show? Sob.
