Research is predicting that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle might choose this baby name

Bizarre but possible.

It’s all a guessing game.

But, it’s keeping us entertained as we count down to the birth of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s first baby.

Meghan, who’s now on maternity leave from her royal engagements is counting down the days until she gives birth as she stated last week that she’s “almost there”.

And as we’ve recently thought that Kylie and Shane could be potential suggestions (thanks to Prince Charles), it looks like we’ve more peculiar ones to add to the list going off new data from Ancestry.co.uk.

According to the research site, they believe that from the Duke’s side Lancelot, Boniface and Marmaduke for a boy, and Ursula and Hyacinthe for a girl could be potential suggestions. While from Meghan’s side, Alvin and Doris, Ralph and Gertrude are possibilities.

I mean, random, but we won’t knock it.

Other possibilities (as these names feature on both Harry and Meghan’s side) are Elizabeth, Mary, and John, but again, I feel everyone has a Mary and John in their family tree.

When it comes to choosing a baby name, the world is Harry and Meghan’s oyster and there is one royal “rule” that they do have to follow when their child is born and it’s to do with the timing of sharing the baby’s name with the world.

It is essential that the Queen is told of the news first and tradition dictates that the couple wait a few days after the baby’s birth before publicly announcing the official name.

Now, all we can do is wait and see.
