It seems the speculation surrounding Marnie Simpson and Ricky Rayment’s relationship is not true.
Yesterday rumours were swirling that the couple had split after she tweeted: “I couldn’t of ever imagined what this day would bring. My heart is broken [sic].”
It seems the couple are still together (image: Instagram).
However she appears to have now set the record straight on what her post was actually about.
Last night she retweeted Chloe Goodman who wrote: “this tweet was about her puppy Smith not ricky … Her puppy had a horrible accident @MarnieGShore [sic].”
Ricky also shot down the reports on Twitter, telling fans not to believe anything unless it comes from him personally.

Marnie, of Geordie Shore fame, and former TOWIE star Ricky announced their engagement last month.
At the time, he gushed: “I’ve known since the first day I met Marnie that she was the woman I was going to marry.”
