The news is going to give hope to a lot of single ladies out there but we have to admit that we are a little shocked to hear that Rob Kearney and his girlfriend Susie Amy have broken up.
After three years together the couple have decided to go their separate ways according to the Irish Independent.
It seems that the distance between the Irish rugby player and his actress girlfriend, who has previously starred in Footballers’ Wives and Echo Beach, just became too much.
Susie Amy has starred in a number of popular television dramas.
An insider told the publication: “Rob is based in Ireland and Susie is in the UK. It’s that simple and that wasn’t going to change anytime soon.”
Many will have thought that Rob and Susie would be the next to wed having attended a number of nuptials recently including those of Brian O’Driscoll and Amy Huberman. Now if that wedding didn’t make you want to walk down the aisle, nothing will!
