Ronan Keating Still ‘Close’ With Ex Yvonne

Ronan Keating insists that despite everything that has gone between them, he is still very close to his ex-wife Yvonne.

The Boyzone star has said that he is finally accepting of what’s happened and that he is glad they can still be friends. 

Ronan and Yvonne split up after it came out that the singer had had an affair with dancer Francine Cornell. They were married for 14 years and have three children together.

He told The Irish Sun: “We are putting our best foot forward – we are doing great… We are great friends.”

While he did comment about the fling that arguably ended his marriage, Ronan stayed quiet about his ex-wife's new squeeze cinematographer John Conroy. Clearly they're not that close just yet!

“It’s been out there, I have talked about it – it’s the past and there’s only so much you can say about the past,” explained the ‘Life Is A Rollercoaster’ singer about the scandal.

As for his future Ronan has more than enough to keep him busy what with his new album ‘Fires,’ a Boyzone tour and shooting in Australia for the X Factor.

Ronan is keeping himself busy with a number of work projects.
