The palace are making moves to bring Thomas into the family fold, which contradicts what he has said about a lack of contact between him an his daughter's new family.
According to the Daily Mirror, the palace has two other options: severing all contact or having Meghan reach out to her dad directly.
The source also said that Meghan was "deeply hurt by what is happening," and that the royal household have had a number of crisis meetings on how to silence him.
