Ryan Reynolds shared his daughters first sentence

Maybe she’ll be a comedic actor too?

Ryan Reynold’s was awareded Entertainer of the Year and Best Actor in a Comedy at this year’s Critics Choice Awards on Sunday night.

Anyone who has seen Ryan’s films over even follow him on Twitter will know that both awards were well deserved.

The second award, Best Actor in a Comedy, seemed to come as a bit of a surprise to Ryan who said he did not have a speech for the award.

“I prepared nothing, so I’m just going to focus on Tom Hanks.” He said on stage.

”No really, though, you’re a huge influence on me,” Reynolds said to the actor, who was in the crowd.

“My two-year-old daughter, the first full sentence she ever said was, ‘There’s no crying in baseball.’ I’m not kidding.”

Ryan was referring to a famous line from the Tom Hanks 1992 film A League of Their Own.

Ryan’s daughter James was born in 2014 and will turn two on the 16th of December. He and Blake Lively also welcomed another daughter in September 2016.

It seems that even at that tender age, the kid has a sense of humour, so maybe she’ll grow up to be as funny as her daddy.
