The reality star broke his silence on their split in a new episode of his podcast with Pete Wicks.
The Staying Relevant duo spoke about the difficult month Sam has had.
He told Pete: "It was tough. It’s been a tough month. A real tough month."
Zara and Sam reportedly ended their relationship before Christmas after five years together.
According to MailOnline, the famous pair ended their relationship because they grew apart.
An insider claimed that 2024 was a very tough year for the couple but ending their relationship was a very tough decision.
The source said: “Sam and Zara have ended their relationship. It’s been an incredibly difficult decision for them to part ways, they still care and have a lot of love for each other.
“But after a tough year of working hard at their romance, they have split and will be focusing on their individual careers going forward into 2025.
“There has been no scandal or fallout between them, it’s just the result of a difficult year, where they both had to spend a lot of time focused on their own projects.”
Weeks before their split, Sam penned a moving birthday tribute to Zara.
He described the Love Island star as his best friend and said he couldn't wait to spend "another amazing year" with her.
