Sam Thompson has opened up about fatherhood

The reality star split from his long-term girlfriend Zara McDermott in December 2024, but has confirmed he's ready to move on.

Sam recently opened up about his future and revealed he wants to have children one day.

Speaking on Loose Women, Sam discussed his desire to become a parent.

Sam explained that he's taking part in five marathons in five days and is also cycling every day.

He is also taking part in a charity football match for Soccer Aid and UNICEF.

Speaking about Sam's upcoming charity work, presenter Craig Doyle said Sam's future children will be proud of what he has done.

He told Thompson, "When you complete it and one day you become a dad, you’ll tell them about it and they’ll be proud of you."

He said Sam's kids will "be inspired by you and I think that you’ll be that kind of dad. I think you’ll lead by joy and love."

Becoming a dad is a milestone Sam thinks about a lot.

He replied, "I’d love to be a dad one day, it’s on my list. I would love it."

Earlier this month, Sam confirmed he has started dating again following the end of his long-term relationship.

The podcaster has been linked to Love Island star Samie Elishi.
