So, who is Denis Sulta, how did he meet Saoirse-Monica and how did they end up where they are today? Well, we have the answers if you just keep reading.

Who is Denis Sulta?

Denis Sulta, real name Hector Barbour,  is a Glasgow-based DJ and producer of house and dance music.

He was born and raised in Anniesland in the West End of Glasgow.

His mother is a Scottish broadcast journalist and the first female chair of Glasgow School of Art's board of governors, and his father, a TV producer and director. so you could say he was born to entertain.

Denis now regularly plays sold-out shows in packed rooms in Glasgow and Leeds.

When did Denis and Saoirse get together?

Though can't tell you the exact moment the couple crossed paths, we can safely assume it was around 2021 as this is when they were first spotted together.

The actress posted images of herself and the DJ to her Instagram around the same time, confirming their relationship.

From that moment on they just went from strength to strength and were regularly spotted at Liverpool matches and making plenty of time to travel the world together.

Saoirse and Denis also love to make us feel extremely single as they love to share cavity-causing sweet selfies together.

They almost went TOO Instagram official

Saoirse-Monica and Denis made their love public with a sweet picture shared on social media but many thought the snap was an engagement thanks to the DJ being down on one knee.

Imagine they really announced their engagement and relationship at the time? Twitter would burst into flames.

Of course, when they first posted together, fans went wild filling the comment section with questions - so much so Saoirse-Monica had to clear things up in the comments.

"DISCLAIMER - NOOOOO.... This is not an engagement photo people. He just had a long day on his feet," she penned.

Wedding bells

The actress opted to announce her engagement to Denis in the traditional way - a post on Instagram.

It started when her now fiancé blurted out their happy news during an interview.

Though some people might get annoyed with their other half for letting it slip, Saoirse-Monica seized the moment with both hands and shared the news with a post to her account.

During a sit-down with Metal Magazine, Denis was asked what his best memory of 2023 was and sweetly replied: "The day I proposed to my finacé Saoirse."

She screenshotted and reposted the clip, commenting with a crying emoji but as of yet hasn't revealed any of the details of the proposal.

Back in November however the DJ threw a blowout celebration to mark his other half's 30 birthday.

If you go full detective mode and look through the snaps from the night shows her wearing a ring on that finger hinting that he might have popped the question around her birthday.
