Irish actress Saoirse Ronan is reportedly just weeks away from giving birth to her first child.
The Little Women actress is expecting her first child with fellow actor Jack Lowden.
The couple's special news was confirmed at the Louis Vuitton cruise 2026 show in May.
A source close to the couple has confirmed Saoirse's due date is just around the corner.
They told Star Magazine: "It’s still a few weeks to go, and Saoirse plans on taking time off work to bond with the baby."
The source added that both Saoirse and Jack are incredibly excited about this new chapter of their lives.
"They are extremely happy and excited… Saoirse’s always wanted to be a mom.
"It was just a question of finding the right partner," the insider added.
In a previous interview with British Vogue, the Little Women star said she always wanted to have a family of her own.
The Brooklyn star said, “I became successful when I was quite young. So it meant that, actually, by the time I found my partner, I’m now at the stage where, if it happened, I would like to have a kid.
“I feel fortunate enough that, if I step out of this for a minute, I’m hopefully not giving it up forever. But, yeah, I’ve always wanted that,” she confirmed.
The Irish actress has been dating Jack Lowden since they worked together on Mary Queen of Scots in 2018.
The actors tied the knot in a low-key ceremony in Edinburgh in the summer of 2024.
They were joined by a small group of their loved ones for the celebration. Insiders claim the couple married at Edinburgh Central Registrar's Office.
