Secret Heartache for Girls Aloud Star as Long Distance Love Proves Difficult

Cheryl Cole has been in a relationship with backing Dancer Tre Holloway for over a year and those close to the singer have previously stated that they fully expected the pair to marry.

Reports today are suggesting the singer is close to ending their relationship as Trey won't move to the UK to be with her. Cheryl wants to get her UK career back on track after taking some time out and is hoping to make her life in England. However, Trey's career as a dancer means he has work commitments in America.

A source close to the pair told the Daily Star Sunday ”Cheryl and Tre’s relationship has been hanging on by a thread since her 30^th birthday in June. Cheryl’s given up on America after a series of disappointing meetings earlier this year.”

The Newcastle born star originally moved to America to be a judge on the X Factor USA but was fired from the show after a couple of days. She has since struggled to make a name for herself stateside.

The insider added “Cheryl’s had enough of jetting back and forth and hates having a long distance relationship. She loves Trey and ideally wants him to move to England to start a family with her.”

As Trey’s career is going from strength to strength amid reports he is to choreograph a world tour, he is unwilling to leave LA for good.

It’s far too early to say what will happen but we hope they figure it out, Cheryl deserves some happiness.
