Sharon Stone has paid tribute to her late brother, Patrick Joseph Stone, following his death.
Patrick was 57-years-old. He passed away after suffering a heart attack.
In a post on Instagram, Sharon confirmed that her brother had died, and reflected on the tragedy her family has endured over the past few years. In 2021, Patrick’s son River died, aged 11 months.
In the video, Sharon says: “Hello everybody. This message is to confirm that yes we did lose my brother, Patrick Joseph Stone to a heart attack yesterday.
“Yes he is the man who was the father to River, who we lost last year at 11 months old. He is survived by his wife Tasha and his son Hunter and his daughter Kaylee. Like any family, we thank you for your love and support in this time of immeasurable grief and we appreciate all of your condolences.”

The actress then reflected on the “tremendous amount of loss” her family has seen recently, and she acknowledged that this is true for many of her followers as well.
She finished up by saying: “I thank you very much for the love and support that you’re showing us, and we just ask you to continue to be kind. Thank you.”
Later, she posted two pictures of her brother on Instagram and wrote: “RIP my brother Patrick Joseph Stone.”

A number of celebrities expressed their condolences to Sharon, including John Travolta, Hilary Swank and Gloria Estefan.
In 2021, Patrick’s infant son River passed away after suffering organ failure.
Shortly after his death, Sharon posted a video tribute to the infant, which mostly showed him playing and smiling.
