Sharon Stone shares heartbreaking tribute as 11 month old nephew passes away

Heartbreaking news.

American actress Sharon Stone has paid a heartbreaking tribute to her baby nephew after he suffered organ failure.

The actress announced last week that her 11-month-old nephew was suffering total organ failure and reached out for thoughts and prayers.

The 63 year old told fans that baby River was critically ill and her family were looking for a miracle to happen to help him get better.

Devastatingly, the Casino star updated fans on Monday revealing that River passed away. River is the son of Sharon’s brother Patrick.

Sharing a touching tribute to the little one, she shows beautiful footage of his short life, mostly of him smiling and playing.

Sharon wrote in the caption: “River William Stone Sept. 8, 2020 – Aug. 30, 2021.”

The Total Recall actress asked fans to pray last week, hoping that River would pull through after his sudden illness.

She wrote: “My nephew and godson River Stone was found in his crib w total organ failure today. Please pray for him. We need a miracle.”

She was immediately sent messages of love and support, particularly by fellow famous faces.

Will and Grace star Debra Messing said: “Noooooooooooooo. I am in disbelief. Oh Sharon, there are no words, other than I’m so sorry for your whole family’s loss. I am praying for all of you at this unimaginable time.”

Debra’s Will and Grace co-star Sean Hayes added: “Ugh. I’m sitting here in tears. I’m so sorry, Sharon. What a beautiful boy. Sending all my love to you and your family.”

Actress Selma Blair said: “I am so sorry. My lord.”

Hilary Swank added: “I’m so sorry. Deep heartfelt prayers for your family.”
