Since Thursday night when the news broke that Dani Dyer and Jack Fincham were parting ways, it’s safe to say fans were taken aback.
But one person who seems to have some firm views on the news, is Dani’s father, Danny.
It is reported that the Eastenders actor always wanted Dani to “shine” on her own and actually believed that the breakup should have happened sooner.

Speaking to The Sun, a source close to the Love Islander’s father said:
“Her dad Danny and her family warned her early on that they didn’t think sticking by Jack was the best idea. They thought she’d be stronger alone. Her dad tried to advise her as much as he could. They had a few words with Dani but ultimately it was her choice and they’d never stand in the way.”

Dani was the one who broke the news of the split on Instagram, sharing an image on her story, it read:
“Jack and I have sadly decided to part ways. It’s been an incredible six months and we will always have a place in our hearts for each other, but sadly we’ve come to the realisation that it’s not mean to be long-term…”
The post which was deleted after a couple of hours left fans scratching their heads, puzzled as to what’s going on, with Jack still commenting underneath Dani’s images and the pair remaining to stay very close. Are they planning to reconcile or is this just a very mature breakup?
A spokesperson for the pair also confirmed that they will still co-host the NTA’s this month.
