Show Us The Ring! Jennifer Aniston Keeps Her Engagement Ring Under Wraps

It’s been nearly two weeks since Justin Theroux popped the question to Jennifer Aniston and she accepted his proposal.

But it seems the American actress is in no rush to show off her engagement ring.

A plain gold band has appeared on her ring finger over the last week as Aniston visited the cinema, picked up a take-out an enjoyed her time off set in North Carolina.

But, while she seemed delighted to share the news of their engagement, Jennifer is not as enthusiastic about showing off the new ring. Each time Jennifer has walked around in public, she has turned her ring back-to-front to protect it from prying eyes.

She has also kept her left hand in her pockets constantly.

Theroux is said to have designed his fiancée’s ring with the help of a jeweller friend. There has been wide speculation about his design, which Jennifer seems in no rush to settle.

A source told Life & Style magazine that she is “overwhelmed” by the ring, rumoured to be a huge emerald-cut diamond with tapered baguettes on the sides.

“It’s beautiful,” the source said, “Just after Jen got engaged she called all her friends and told them about it. The ring is around eight carats.

“She was so happy and said she loves the ring. I think she was overwhelmed and overjoyed by the size and beauty of it!”

Theroux asked Jennifer to be his wife on his birthday, after a year of dating.

A spokeswoman for Theroux, confirmed; “Justin Theroux had an amazing birthday on Friday, receiving an extraordinary gift when his girlfriend, Jennifer Aniston, accepted his proposal of marriage.”

Since splitting with her ex-husband, Brad Pitt, in 2005, Aniston has had a series of short-lived relationships with Vince Vaughn, Bradley Cooper, John Mayer and Owen Wilson.

During her five-year marriage to Brad Pitt, Jennifer wore a large swirled diamond and platinum engagement ring that he co-designed with jeweller Silvia Damiani.

It was valued at $500,000.
