It is the end of an era!
Cameron Diaz is said to officially retire from acting this year. The 45-year-old who has starred in some of the most iconic movies from Charlie’s Angels to The Holiday and even There’s Something About Mary, is planning an early, and most certainly deserved retirement.
According to Glamour Magazine, Cameron’s pal and The Sweetest Thing co-star, Selma Blair broke the news saying:
“I had lunch with Cameron the other day. We were reminiscing about the film. I would have liked to do a sequel but Cameron’s retired from acting. She’s like ‘I’m done’.”
“I mean, she doesn’t need to make any more films. She has a pretty great life, I don’t know what it would take to bring her back. She’s happy.”
Cameron, who is now 45-years-old, is said to be spending her time travelling with husband Benji Madden and taking things easy.
Cameron hasn’t officially announced her retirement from the movies however, since her last film was “The Other Woman” in 2014, we take it that she is!
One of the best!
