Actor Larry Hagman passed away on Friday in a Dallas hospital due to complications with his recent throat cancer battle.
The actor who found fame on 80s drama Dallas for playing resident baddie JR Ewing starred in the hit show from 1978 to 1991 and reprised his role earlier this year when a revamped version of the show starring Jessie Metcalf hit screens in June.

“Larry was back in his beloved Dallas, re-enacting the iconic role he loved most,” the star's family said in a statement.
His co-star Linda Gray who played his on-screen wife Sue Ellen Ewing was at his bedside when he died at 4.20pm her agent Jeffrey Lane has revealed.
Actor Patrick Duffy who played his brother Bobby Ewing was also at his side at Medical City Dallas Hospital.
