Actor Matthew Cowles has died at the age of 69.
The soap opera star, who is best known for playing Billy Clyde Tuggle in All My Children but also appeared in Shutter Island and Oz, passed away at his home on Thursday.
His manager, Tsu Tsu Stanton, confirmed the news on Twitter. She wrote: “He was a very gifted and kind man who loved life and everyone”.
Cowles is survived by his wife, actress Christine Baranski who is known for her roles in The Good Wife and Mamma Mia.
The couple (pictured above) were married for more than 30 years and have two daughters together, Isabel and Lily.
