A well-known soap star has been arrested on suspicion of rape.
He reportedly raped a woman at a property in London last December.
The male actor (20s) is reportedly a household name. However, their identity has not been made public as the investigation is ongoing.
The assault allegedly occurred in South London on December 30th, 2022.
The woman, aged in her 20s, is receiving specialist support following the harrowing assault.
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson confirmed to Metro that an investigation is underway.
“A woman in her 20s reported she was raped. Specially trained officers continue to offer support to the victim.”
Police also confirmed the actor is 25 years old.
No charges have currently been made at this time, but investigations are ongoing.
His co-stars are reportedly “reeling” following the shocking news.
