Sofia Vergara Claims Top Spot on Forbes List

Sofia Vergara has been named as the female television star who has earned the most money.

The Modern Family actress saw off strong competition from reality star Kim Kardashian as well as 30 Rock’s Tina Fey to top the list by Forbes.  

Writer and actress Tina Fey came in sixth on the top ten list by Forbes. 

Recently-engaged Vergara took in a whopping $19 million which is the equivalent of just over €15 million.

However it’s not all down to her role as Gloria on the hit US comedy show for which she gets €80,000 per episode.

The Columbian-born beauty has also branched out into fashion and production to boost her income. Not only does she have a Kmart clothing deal but she also has endorsements with top brands including Pepsi.

Other women who made the top ten included Eva Longoria and Felicity Huffman from Desperate Housewives which ended earlier this year. 

Former co-stars Eva Longoria and Felicity Huffman also made the top ten.
