They’re one of our favourite celebrity couples and it seems that they are about to become a trio!
US website Just Jared is reporting that Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas are expecting their first child. “The couple is keeping things very hush hush but their friends and family are super excited for them,” a source told the website. Spokespeople for the couple declined to respond.
The Game of Thrones star and her pop star husband have been together since 2016, announcing their engagement after a year of dating. But while fans prepared for the kind of huge celebrity wedding that Jonas’ brother Nick enjoyed with Priyanka Chopra, the couple opened to keep things quiet and married in Vegas in 2019. The civil ceremony was officiated by an Elvis impersonator at the city’s Little White Chapel.
The couple then held a larger celebration with family and friends in France later last summer. This time the bride wowed in a Louis Vuitton dress custom designed by the brand’s creative director Nicolas Ghesquière.
Since Game of Thrones finished, Sophie has been making her mark in the fashion world and is an ambassador for the French brand.
According to the Just Jared report, 23-year-old Sophie has been adapting her style lately to find outfits that accommodate her changing figure.
Her latest post on Instagram features a black and white photograph of her and Jonas, with the caption “Happiness begins with you, Bub”. Fans are now speculating as to whether the ‘bub’ in question might be a ‘baba’!
