Stacey Solomon’s emotional tribute will bring a tear to your eye.
Stacey Solomon has penned a heartbreaking tribute to her friend and fellow influencer Nicky Newman. She sadly passed away from cancer this week, leaving Solomon heartbroken.
Alongside a beautiful photo of Nicky, Stacey paid tribute to her dear friend.
She said anyone who knew Nicky was incredibly lucky.
Stacey promised her friend that she would make the most of every second following her untimely death.
“Never has a star shone brighter. Absolutely heartbroken & devastated. Nicky thank you for everything.”
“I’m so grateful to have known you. I promise to go grab life & make the most of every single second of every day,” Stacey added.
Nicky’s passing was confirmed on her Instagram page where she raised awareness about cancer. The campaigner was diagnosed with breast cancer over five years ago.
Sadly, the cancer then spread to Nicky’s bones.
Nicky confirmed she stopped treatment around 10 days ago. She wrote a goodbye post on her Instagram for her followers that was shared following her death.

“If you’re reading this it means I have died, I made it 5 & half years though, not bad for a stage 4 breastie ey.
“And none of this ‘she fought her battle nonsense’, I didn’t lose anything, the cancer eventually took over & that’s okay, we all knew this would happen.”
“I don’t think we are ever prepared to hear the words, we think we are indestructible & a magic cure will appear, but the truth is we all live this life day to day (we just knew our days are shorter).”
Nicky asked her followers to cherish those around her and to not to take anything for granted.
“You never truly know what is coming around the corner – so don’t take anything for granted.”
