A true musical icon.

Back in 2006, Paris Hilton released her first studio album, Paris.

The record shot to number 27 in the Irish charts, securing the socialite firmly among the George Michaels and Princes of the world.

Who could ever forget the unstoppable banger that was Stars Are Blind?

Paris’s declaration that: “Even though the gods are crazy, even though the stars are blind. If you show me real love baby
I’ll show you mine,” stuck with us for many years.

(No, really, it’s actually a great song.)

It was raw, it was passionate, and totally representative of the heiress as an artist.

Now, over 10 years on, and Paris is reportedly recording her second studio album.

And we honestly cannot wait.

Speaking to TIME magazine, the singer, actress, and billionaire confirmed that she was working on the album, and that it would have a bit of a different sound than what we’d usually associate with Paris.

According to her, the new record is going to influenced by “deep house, techno-pop and electro-pop.”

Sounds class.

Paris also chatted a bit about her life as an incredibly successful DJ.

She’s so successful that she literally makes $1 million per booking, making her the highest paid female DJ in the world.

Not too bad, Paris.

Not too bad.
