Seann Walsh and Katya Jones, who have been paired together on this year's Strictly Come Dancing, were pictured kissing at the weekend.

They were spotted on a night out and yesterday the story broke that they had kissed despite the fact that both of them are in relationships. Now both Seann and Katua have taken to social media to apologise for what they have described as a mistake, Sean adding a "drunken mistake". Writing on Twitter, Seann said:

"In light of the story in today's newspaper I would like to offer my sincere apologies for my actions. This is no excuse but it was a one-off drunken mistake which I am truly sorry for".

Katya added her own statement also via Twitter:

"I’m so sorry about any offence or hurt I may have caused with my actions. I wasn’t thinking and it was a one-off mistake after some drinks. I love my husband and we are very happy together, this is not a reflection on our relationship".

Katya added that she loved her husband and this is "not a reflection" on their relationship. The professional dancer is married to Neil Williams since 2013. He is also part of the Strictly family only he isn't partnered with a celebrity this year and has been taking part in the group dances. Meanwhile, Seann has in a relationship with actress Rebecca Humphries for several years.
