Producers "know how popular" Holly Willoughby is
Strictly Come Dancing producers are hoping to sign Holly Willoughby, but don't expect to see her waltzing across the dancefloor. The BBC is eager to sign Holly up as a presenter on the show.
They've been eager to sign her up but believe now is the perfect time following the major Schofield scandal at ITV.
According to reports, Holly already has a strong relationship with the BBC after hosting
Freeze the Fear with Wim Hof in 2022.
A source told
MailOnline that the BBC has had its eye on Holly for years.
"BBC bosses want her and they have been plotting for some time to get her for their big shows," they said.
"They know how popular she is, but it also has to be the right programme. Recently there has been talk around the BBC that Strictly would be a way to lure her over."

"There are ideas of how she could slot in – nobody is quite sure about that yet but they think she would be perfect."
Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman currently host
Strictly Come Dancing, but it hasn't been revealed if Holly would replace them.
"It seems like a big project to get her to do it, and would mean moving things around on the show somehow.
"But there are some executives at the BBC who want it to happen," they added.
