She has finally made a statement to her fans.
At the beginning of the month, an Instagram page called @Bullshitcallerouter was set up in Ireland, detailing how bloggers and ‘influencers’ deceived their fans with photoshop, fixed competitions and faked posts.
SoSueMe was caught up in that controversy, with the Instagram page calling her out for photoshopping her pictures, including one where she added seagulls into a photo.
However, now Suzanne has made a statement regarding the drama, and even though Bullshitcallerouter isn’t mentioned in the post, she told her fans that the controversy not only upset her, but also her family and team.
She wrote: “I am a firm believer in remaining positive and not letting myself be affected by negativity.
On this occasion, I feel I have to speak out for myself and reassure you, the true, supportive caring followers, that a lot of what is been written and posted online is untrue.
“Unfortunately being in the public eye, it has its ups and downs which I accept. You take the good with the bad. But I will not allow people to force untrue information onto my followers.
“It’s not only extremely upsetting for me but also my family and team.
“I love knowing that I inspire people daily and for that reason I want to share with you that sometimes the testing situations will arise. And like me, you have to power through.”
She finished by thanking her followers for their support: “Thank you to those who believe in me, my products and brands.”
