“She will not be writing albums about this one”
It has been reported that Taylor Swift and 1975 frontman, Matty Healy have split after a brief romance.
TMZ reports that the pair called it quits after supposedly starting their relationship in April.
Sources told the publication that their busy and conflicting schedules seemed to be the reason behind the separation.
A source told People Magazine: “She had fun with him, but it was always casual.”
They addd: “They are no longer romantically involved.”
Another insider said that the couple realised they are “not really compatible with each other.”
An ET source said Taylor’s friends just want “what’s best” for her.
“Taylor’s friends want what’s best for her and aren’t shocked that their relationship fizzled out since she recently got out of a long-term relationship,” the source said.
There’ll be no albums about Matty anyway…
Matty and Taylor sparked romance rumours shortly after Taylor’s split from long-term boyfriend Joe Alwyn back in April.
They were spotted together several times including on a date in New York and Matty was even seen dancing with Taylor’s dad at one of her concerts in Nashville.
However, sources close to Taylor revealed the brief relationship was “not a big deal” and that the media surrounding it was “just stupid”.
They told Page Six: “Everyone who really knows her has been saying all along that this was a fun, good time thing that would last as long as it lasted and would be no big deal once it was done.”
The insider also shared that Swift won’t be writing any albums about Matty any time soon.
They said: “She will not be writing albums about this one. It was a summertime thing. Does everyone have amnesia about Tom Hiddleston? Jesus Christ.”
The same Page Six source said that Taylor “can’t have a good time with anyone without the press marrying her off to them.”
They also said that “when she moves on, they have to basically have her file for divorce.”
