She will be honoured on the night.

Last week, Taylor Swift issued a statement on Instagram about the trouble she is currently having with music manager Scooter Braun and his company, Big Machine Records.

In a lengthy post on social media, the singer told her fans of how Scooter and Scott Borchetta have stopped her from performing her old songs – this will include when she receives the Artist Of The Decade award at the 2019 American Music Awards.

However, according to Hollywood Life, Taylor will make an even bigger statement than she did on Instagram on the night.

A source told the publication:

“Taylor is humbled by being named the Artist of the Decade and had always intended to perform on the show to show her fans and the AMAs how appreciative she is over the honor, but then the latest uproar occurred with Big Machine and Scooter Braun that has since caused her to speak out and potentially change up what she was going to perform.

“She is now figuring out all the details on everything and what she will actually perform and say when she accepts the award.”

The insider added that she will be at her “most raw” on the night. The American Music Awards will take place on November 25.
