David Attenborough fans will be delighted to hear that he’s bringing a second series of Planet Earth to our screens.
The BBC has announced a follow up to their 2006 hit, of the same name, with a new six-part series which is due to air later this year.
Speaking about the new show, David Attenborough told The Guardian,“I am very excited to once again be working with the Natural History Unit on its latest landmark series and am especially looking forward to getting out on location in the next month or so.”
Tom McDonald, from the BBC added, “Ten years on from Planet Earth, it feels like the perfect moment to bring our audience a series of such ambition, which will change the way we see the natural world.”
The new series will explore the natural world using ultra high definition filming, drones and remote recording.
