Irish influencer Terrie McEvoy has shared a heartwarming update following the birth of her son Myles.
The mum gave birth to her baby boy, who is her second child, earlier this month, and has described her newborn as a dreamboat.
In a new video on her Instagram, Terrie gave her followers an update on her postpartum recovery.
"I had a C-section on Myles, I had a C-section on Sydney as well, and I did find this time a lot easier. I was ready to go home after 48 hours, which was amazing," the mum shared.
Terrie couldn't help but gush about her newborn son, who has been "a little dreamboat" since he was born.
Speaking about her daughter Sydney, Terrie confirmed that she is loving being a big sister.
"Sydney is adjusting so well, thank god, and so are we, in fairness, I only had one menty b so far.”
Terrie said she's even feeling ready to return to podcasting in a few weeks time.
Terrie and her husband, David, host a joint podcast called Ten Down together. The mum is planning on recording an episode about this new chapter of their lives.
"We have so many funny moments written in the note section, with things that have happened that you just couldn’t write. We'll record the episode over the next week or two with Myles on my lap."
The mum added, "We have just been in the biggest bubble. It’s been both amazing and crazy at the same time."
Her followers praised the mum for being so open about the highs and lows of postpartum recovery.
Terrie said she has been feeling swollen since welcoming her baby boy.
"I just cannot wait for all the swelling to go down. I have absolutely zero clothes that fit me," she said.
The mum said the first week since Myles' arrival has been full of "snuggles, family, healing, learning, tongue ties, 2-hour sleeps, worry, but bliss, and cuddles."
"What a whirlwind it’s been, but worth every. single. second," she added.
